The deadline for papers has now passed and the IX ICPP scientific committee is currently working on putting together the final conference programme, which will be published shortly.
In the meantime, we would like to provide participants with some general information about what will happen at Carloforte.
The conference starts on the morning of Wednesday 16th July, with the official opening ceremony where the mayor and local authorities will be present. This will be followed by some plenary sessions and talks in the afternoon, then by the welcome cocktail in the evening at the Hotel Riviera.
Thursday and Friday are very busy days, full of lectures, workshops, debates, forums, initiatives with local schools, sessions on the beach, philosophical lunches, dinners and cinema. There will also be cocktails and the chance to sample some local traditional Sardinian dishes.
The conference will continue on Saturday morning and will finish in the afternoon, with the certificates of attendance being handed out then. The Gala Dinner will be held Saturday evening.
Among the participants are some of the best known philosopher practitioners from all over the world, as you can see from the list here to the right or from the new conference flyer.
